The past many months have had rumors and speculations circulating with respect to a third- generation AirPods with noise cancellation. This month it seems the wait is finally over as Apple might be all set to launch its next generation wireless earbuds which have been dubbed as AirPods Pro.
This time the AirPods by Apple will feature a new metal design according to reports and the USP for these new AirPods Pro happens to be their feature of ‘noise cancellation’. The exciting part does not end here. What’s more to them is their being water resistant as well. The imminence of the new AirPods pro is supported by evidence shown via an earphone glyph and an animation for adjusting AirPods noise cancellation. iOS 13.2 beta have both of these.
Now the only thing that might make you pause and think before you go ahead in deciding to by these new devices by Apple with their impressive features such as noise cancellation; is their price of course. At $199, the already existing second generation AirPods that come with Wireless Charging Case make them an expensive buy, but the new ones are being speculated to carry a price of $260!
The time line earlier started for their release from later this year to the beginning of next year. The latest updates stress on this month end to be the scheduled roll of of the new AirPods Pro. If that is to be the case, Apple should be ready to restock from Christmas timely given the already inevitable high launch demand it is facing for the third generation of AirPods.
Interestingly, since both iPhone11 and iPhone11 Pro lack headphone jacks, Apple will experience good sales in the AirPods department whether ot not it releases the third generation ones right away.
