It’s never too early to get back in the Christmas spirit, especially with Anna Kendrick. Noelle, a new Christmas classic, arrives exclusively at Disney + on Friday, November 27.
In the upcoming Disney + Christmas comedy titled Noelle, Kris Kringle’s daughter Noelle (Kendrick) has a lot of Christmas spirit and loves Christmases, but would like to be more important, like her beloved brother Nick ( Bill Hader ), who will become in Santa Claus after having been his father.
Nick is training to become Santa, but he has a terrible time. He crashes the sleigh, he does not distinguish good children from bad ones. He understands nothing but their language. The things you should know just from being Santa, sadly, you don’t. When Nick is about to collapse from the pressure like a candy house, Noelle suggests that he take a break and go clear his mind… but he doesn’t come back.
His sudden disappearance unleashes chaos at the North Pole so Mrs. Kringle (Julie Hagerty) will have to take control of the situation to stop Cousin Gabe (Billy Eichner), a very technological Santa. Meanwhile, Noelle accompanied by Elf Polly (Shirley MacLaine), the family’s scathing but kind-hearted nanny, steals the reindeer and the sleigh and goes in search of her brother to take him back to the North Pole in time to save Christmas.
In this rescue mission, Noelle discovers the true meaning of Christmas and that the Kringle surname is not the only thing she shares with her father.
Noelle is written and directed by Marc Lawrence and stars Anna Kendrick, Bill Hader, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Billy Eichner, Julie Hagerty, and Shirley MacLaine. The film is produced by Suzanne Todd with John G. Scotti serving as executive producer.
