Here is the latest tweet that talks about why BAYS says Discord has been compromising with the mining for APE NFTs.

According to security experts, a ticketing mechanism that checks users and sends channel-wide warnings was hacked.

According to the researchers, clicking on the malicious links that lured users to mint a limited edition NFT would lead to an unlawful script that may steal a user’s NFTs and other wallet information.

Several other NFT-focused Discord channels, including Doodles, Shamanzs, and Nyoki, that utilize the same technology saw identical phishing messages, according to pseudonymous blockchain researcher ‘zachxbt.’

At the time of writing, the BAYC Discord channel was locked to new members. So yet, just one NFT from BAYC’s Mutant Ape collection has been taken.

ApeCoin (APE), the cryptocurrency tied to BAYC, lost 8.3 percent in the last 24 hours as the crypto market plummeted overall. Bitcoin (BTC) momentarily lost support above $45,000, while ether fell by up to 5%.
