Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill could repeat together as Batman and Superman.
At Warner Bros and DC Comics, they are planning a story where we will see Batman and Superman again, so they want to reunite Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill.
Actors Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill will be back together like Batman and Superman in the movie Justice League by Zack Snyder. A new version will premiere on HBO Max in March 2021. But they want to adapt the stories from the World’s Finest comics. Which would certainly be a great idea to bring a brilliant conclusion to the legacy of these two actors in their time at DC Comics.
Some time ago it seems they wanted to use the Batman of Robert Pattinson with the Superman of Henry Cavill for this story. But the reports of the filming of The Batman are not the best and the attitude of the actor worries a lot. Therefore, if they continue with World’s Finest, the Dark Knight that we will see will undoubtedly be that of Ben Affleck.
For now, the movie studio is waiting to know what impact the release of Zack Snyder of Justice League. Because if you have a great reception by fans probably they will give more opportunities to the Batman of Ben Affleck. So we will see it in Flash, where they will show the “multiverse” and all its possibilities, but they could also go ahead with their own solo movie.
What is World’s Finest about?
The World’s Finest comics were published initially by National Periodical Publications and then by DC Comics beginning in the summer of 1941 through January 1986, covering a total of 322 issues. The series was initially titled World’s Best Comics but changed to World’s Finest Comics after issue 1. These stories are so mythical that it would be very interesting if Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill took them to the movies.
Originally, World’s Finest Comics was an anthology series that featured the most popular DC Comics characters but primarily focused on Batman and Superman. The series began to relate the adventures as a team and unlike its Post-Crisis versions, the two great DC Comics heroes were the best of friends and routinely joined together to fight villains such as Lex Luthor, Brainiac, or the Joker. Something very different from what we have seen now in the cinema versions of Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill. Since they have generally been fighting forever, except at the end of Joss Whedon’s Justice League. But for now, we don’t know how the Zack Snyder story will end.
