The emotional scene that we will see in Black Widow.
Milla Jovovich has spoken about her daughter Ever, and her role as a young Natasha in Black Widow, and how she made the entire crew cry while filming a scene
Milla Jovovich’s daughter brought the entire crew to tears on the set of Black Widow. Marvel Studios is kicking off its Phase 4 with the film starring Scarlett Johansson finally giving Natasha Romanoff her long-awaited solo movie.
Set in the space of time between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, Black Widow will retroactively introduce some of the key figures in Nat’s life before he became an agent of SHIELD and eventually an Avenger. Key new MCU characters mainly include Nat’s first family: David Harbor’s Alexei Shoskatov / Red Guardian, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova (whom we’ll see in the Hawkeye series), and Rachel Weisz’s Melina. Hopefully, Black Widow will also give the character the goodbye it deserves, something it didn’t get in Avengers: Endgame after its sacrifice in Vormir.
In order to do this effectively, Black Widow will function as Natasha Romanoff’s source film, so they will also be introducing the character at a much younger age. This version of Nat will be played by Milla Jovovich’s 13-year-old daughter, Ever, who apparently made the whole team cry while filming a scene in the movie, as the Resident Evil star has recounted in a recent interview. for ET :
“We call her Baby Widow. She’s a huge fan of Marvel movies and you know, Ever is incredibly talented. It’s very natural and it was wonderful to see her on set. I mean, literally, he had everyone crying during one of his scenes! Is incredible. I think people are going to be very, very impressed when they see the movie next year. ”
The Black Widow promo has yet to reveal a young Natasha in the film, and it is possible that she will stay that way, opting to keep this reveal in the film although Marvel Studios could choose to release a new trailer shortly before its theatrical release. next May.
While it may take a bit of time before Ever’s poignant scene is shown, Jovovich’s reveal is an indication that Black Widow is tying up narrative loose ends for its main character. Nat was a key character in the MCU since he debuted in Iron Man 2, but unlike most of his fellow Avengers founders, very little is known about his past before he became Nick Fury’s trusted operative. . Revealing its full backstory may be a bit late considering its fate in Endgame, but it’s the least Marvel Studios can do right now.
