Since the beginning of the drama, Brad has been of the opinion that the children require both the parents and also that he was quite aware of the fact that Angelica knows this thing.
The couple is going to the court because Brad is not comfortable with some of the parenting methods of Angelica. Angelica is the one who wants a 50/50 custody agreement with regards to the children as she feels it is the only feasible way right now and also the one where everyone benefits.
