Vivo’s high- end series, the Nex series is all set for its latest addition, the Chinese smartphone maker’s next flagship smartphone which will be called the Nex 3 5G. By September this year, the phone will be revealed in China according to the company.
The Nex brand has had two other flagships released before the upcoming Vivo Nex 3 whose launch was teased by the company on Weibo. Finally the launch date has been officially confirmed.
Nex series has earlier been introduced with two smartphones both of which stood out with their bezel- less, notchless full- screen experience. The exciting new feature to accompany the latest Nex smartphone, the Nex 3 is a waterfall display that take a whole new level.
The leaked specs sheet reveals that a curved display also known as the ‘waterfall display’ will be sported by the Vivo Nex 3 with screen- to- body ratio being 99.6%.
This is a breakthrough among smartphones as it is will be the first one of its kind.
Other specs that were leaked included details on the chipset which is said to be Octa- core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset. For 5G support, the phone will have Snapdragon X50.
The camera featured in the Vivo Nex 3 will be a 64- megapixel on the rear which will also have the Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor. The sensor is going to be the same as the soon-to-be-launched Redmi Note 8 Pro.
Though the exact details are yet to be revealed a triple rear camera set up might be a possibility given the sketch of the phone that has surfaced. Apart from this, in the coming time, more specs-related details will come to light.
