Dapper Labs has engaged two executives to assist with the management of its non-fungible token (NFT) operations.

Dzmitry Markovich has been named SVP of engineering, while Stephanie Lemmerman has already been named CFO, the business said on Monday.

Markovich was the VP of engineering at Dropbox, while Lemmerman was the CFO at Recharge Payments before joining Dapper and its fast-expanding Web 3 activities.

“Web 3 is attracting perhaps too much genius because the area is expanding considerably faster than giants such As google, Apple, and so on,” Markovich told CoinDesk. “There seem to be a bunch of unsolved uncertainties, however people want to become a part of something greater.”

Hiring Of Two New Execs By Dapper

The hires come as Dapper’s “NFL All Day” NFT marketplace, a National Football League-licensed equivalent to the business’s crown jewel, NBA Top Shot, makes its debut week.

From February 22 to February 24, the football marketplace had over 90,000 transactions totaling $5 million in sales volume, according to a spokesman.

Dapper’s NFL platform is just one of several endeavors to push its trademarks into each and every nook and cranny of the burgeoning sports NFT industry.

The business is now also developing ideas for UFC and cricket marketplaces on its Flow blockchain.

What Else We Know So Far About Dapper Working Towards NFL NFT Marketplace

Dapper’s objectives are supported by substantial finance, even by NFT norms. In September, the business closed a $250 million fundraising round at an estimated $7.6 billion value.

“At the end of the day, All Day might be larger than Top Shot.” And All Day, from a technology standpoint, we’re constructing a brand-new stack that would be scalable,” Markovich told CoinDesk in an interview.

“The NFL brand remains enormous in the United States.”
