After the huge announcement of Justice League’s director’s cut version named Zack Snyder’s Justice League, DC fans have been asking for a similar version of Suicide Squad from David Ayer, the director of Suicide Squad.
The fans have been consistently pressuring Ayer for the special version of the movie for quite some time now across various platforms. Well, Ayer has decided to speak now. Here’s what he has to say.
WHAT DOES HE SAY?
David started off by saying that the version of Suicide Squad that is presently available for the fans to watch is not the original version. There were a number of changes that were made before the movie came out in front of the audience.
When asked about a new director’s cut version he says that he is not doing anything of the sort right now and added that any news that may say a director’s cut version is under development is false. He says that a thing like that may happen in the future but certainly not right now. Even on social media Ayer is maintaining this stance.
It could be possible that David Ayer’s Suicide Squad is actually happening and Ayer’s outright denial is the part of a surprise for the fans. Well, time will tell what is actually happening. Till then go and watch Suicide Squad if you haven’t already so that you will be prepared for the director’s cut version if it is a real thing indeed.
