Vikings have been a fan favorite right from its first season. As soon as the last season ended the fans had been asking for the new season. The new season didn’t happen but the creators did start making a spin-off this show then suddenly everything was hindered by some false reports of COVID-19.

Vikings is coming back with a spin-off of its original series. There is going to be a new cast and a new streaming platform for the show, Netflix.
Though fans dearly wanted the show to return and its shooting had also started in Ireland when it was reported that many of the crew and cast had tested positive for COVID 19.
Everything was stopped immediately after this development but in recent times it has been reported that the test reports received earlier were false.
Now with nothing to hinder shooting further, it has been decided that things will restart again.
The creators assured that regular tests will be done and proper precautions will be taken on the sets. As of now, the shooting is back on and the fans are absolutely delighted with this news.
The latest spinoff of the show “Vikings” will have 24 episodes, as it has been decided so far.
The creator of this spin off is Michael Hirst and it will be produced by MGM. Regarding plot not much is known but it is believed that the story will start 100 years after the original story of “Vikings”.
