Well, for today, we are here to tell you everything related to the Japanese animated movie ‘Given’ season 2. So kindly brace yourself!
Given Season 2: Release
We don’t want to upset you but the fact is that there is still no official confirmation on the release of ‘Given’ season 2.
The movie is actually based on a book called ‘Manga’ and since the sequel of the book has been officially confirmed, we are expecting another official announcement from the makers about the second season of the animated movie as well. But we are still hopeful and are expecting it to release early in 2021.
Given Season 2: Plot
‘Given’ is the name of a school band and Ritsuka Uenoyama, the protagonist in the movie, is a part of it.
In the first movie we saw how Ritsuka Uenoyama fell in love with Mafuyu after his boyfriend died and how they kissed backstage after their live stage performance in the school got over.
The guitar played by Ritsuka, was given to him by his boyfriend and that is how naming the band ‘Given’ came into existance, and of-course the name of the move as well.
We are hoping that the upcoming season of ‘Given’ will focus more on the relationship between Ritsuka and Mafuyu and we are also waiting to see what this adorable couple brings back with them in the story along with some more musical scenes because they add a spark in it. Correct us if we are wrong.
Also, since the movie showcases a very major theme known as suicide, we would love to witness how the characters overcome all these challenges and inspire the young generation on how to face all the hurdles in real life too.
Given Season 2: Cast
The animated series doesn’t involve human faces but definitely involves human voices for the characters and to lend their voices, we are pretty sure Takuya as Akihiko, Uama Uchida as Ritsuka Uenoyama, Masatomo Nakazawa as Haruki Nakayama and Shogo Yano as Mafuyu Satou will be back with their voices for their animated characters to entertain you.
Given Season 1: Reviews and Ratings
The audience love the movie as it dealt with the youth and all the problems it faces now days and of-course the theme of naturalising homosexuality by taking it up through animated concept is something that viewers are highly admiring.
Also, having an 8.2 on 10 rating on IMDb ensures that the audience actually liked the movie and it’s concept.
