We can already see the first trailer for Godzilla vs Kong, a film that will bring the most epic battle in the history of cinema.
Since they released Godzilla (2014) they have been creating a “monster verse” with films like Kong: Skull Island (2017) and Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019). Now everything will end in a brutal battle in Godzilla vs Kong, where humanity will only be able to attend the confrontation stunned while trying not to be eradicated.
What will the movie be about?
As we can see thanks to the Godzilla vs Kong trailer, humanity will use the great ape to face the giant lizard. But the fight will be somewhat uneven until Kong uses a weapon that will even things out. But while the fate of the Earth is at stake, human scientists create an artificial monster that will, unfortunately, slip out of their hands. Which will cause Godzilla and Kong to join forces to defeat him.
The director of this monstrous madness is Adam Wingard, responsible for films like Death Note from Netflix or Blair Witch (2016). The cast of Godzilla vs Kong includes Alexander Skarsgård, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Kyle Chandler, Eiza González, Shun Oguri, Demian Bichir, Julian Dennison, Zhang Ziyi, Van Marten, Jessica Henwick, Lance Reddick, Brian Tyree Henry, Ronny Chieng, Hakeem Kae-Kazim, John Pirruccello, and Chris Chalk.
Godzilla vs Kong will be released on March 26, 2021. For now, it is supposed to hit theaters and HBO Max at the same time. Although that is something that Legendary Pictures does not find very funny, so things can still change. But what is clear is that it is such a great show that watching it at home in streaming is not the same as on a big movie screen.
