High Fidelity is an American web television series full of romance and comedy. The series is inspired by one of the best-selling novel of the same name written by Nick Hornby in 1995. The series is developed by Veronica West and Sarah Kucserka.
On 5 April 2018, Disney announced that he was designing a show based on the movie High Fidelity which was released in 2000.
After the completion of production, on 19 April 2019, it was announced that, series will release on Hulu rather than Disney+
What is the theme of the show!
The whole show is sketched on the nature and fate of Rob. Rob is a music lover but has poor understanding of relationships. She was a freshly dumbed record shop owner and revisits 5 past relationships to figure out the problem.
Now, season 2 will likely shows evolution in Rob’s relationship status while dating Clyde. Maybe some new love relationship will generate in new season. So, just stay connected to know the updates regarding the romantic storyline.
What about airing!
Its first season was released on Valentine’s day of this year. All 10 episodes released on same day 14 February 2020 on the platform Hulu. As per the sources, there are no update regarding the release of season 2 till now. In the month of August, season 2 is cancelled by the producers.

But, according to the reviews and ratings earned by season 1, it seems sure that season 2 will return maybe, quite later or in the beginning of 2021.

What about casting!
As there is no update about the release date of season 2, so it is quite difficult to say anything about casting. But one thing is very sure that if season 2 will come, our main characters will definitely reprise their role.
Names of some main characters of season 1 are – Zoe Kravitz as Rob who is the owner of Championship Vinyl and also a lifetime relationships failure. Jake Lacy as Clyde who is Rob’s relationship partner. Da’Vine Joy Randolph as Cherise who is Rob’s best friend and also an employer of her shop. David H. Holmes as Simon who is another best friend and also involved in heart breaking story of Rob.
Maybe some new faces will be seen in new season!
