Hello guys, do you remember how we used to write essays in school about our aims and inspirations? Do you remember what did you write about? I remember writing about movies, actors, and actresses.
I think even now we sometimes look up to something or the other when we try to achieve a goal. Similarly today’s update is about how director Mark Tonderai got inspired by a particular Stephen king’s movie adaptation forecasting an amateur spell.
In a chat with Cinema blend, the director spiller out how Rob Reiner’s film adaptation of Misery by King had an impact on his movie, Spell.
The director expressed how he loves Misery and how the two films were similar as both the stories revolve around a man who is physically and mentally fighting for his survival. Through his movie Spell, Mark pays homage to Reiner’s Misery mania.
Mark also took the chance an acknowledged a number of other movies which he looked up to for inspiration as well.
One was Angel heart, a supernatural thriller and another was Rosemary’s Baby and Deliverance, he believes it is important to pay tribute to the films which acted as a source of inspiration for his movie.
Thus, we can conclude that Mark Tonderai’s way of paying tribute to his inspirations is really appreciable.
And for you guys I just want to say a that watching spell is a masked because it has an amazing feeling story that we will missing for long now.
