Invincible renewed by Amazon for a second and third season

Before season one had even finished, fans were all over the place campaigning for season two of Invincible. The hashtags and the efforts have finally paid off as Amazon has renewed the show for a second and a third season too. Yes, we do know it is great news for Invincible fans and here we have all the necessary information about the season that you need to know.

To be honest, most fans did have an idea that we would get to witness the second season as creator Robert Kirkman had already hinted at one. He also gave away statements regarding the production timeline being a little daunting as a number of hours, days, and even years have been spent in planning, plotting, and now executing every episode that is there on their working table.

He also mentioned that he is pretty sure to be successful in getting the second season out as some work already seems to have been completed by the writers and actors. However, the amount of work that has been already completed has not been revealed by the Walking Dead writer yet. Amazon is also quiet for now but if we go by the timeline then we can expect new episodes to air in the first half of 2022.

Production delays hit in a totally different way due to the COVID-19 pandemic disrupting the production processes but this won’t impact the production procedure of Invincible much as the show is animated. Talking about the cast of the show, the confirmed members to return to the upcoming installment are Steven Yeun as Mark Grayson, Sandra Oh as Debbie Grayson, J. K. Simmons as Nolan Grayson, Zachary Quinto as Robot, among others.
