The Kissing Booth actress will star and is going to the be executive producer for the Netflix’s latest film ‘Uglies’.The film is based on a novel .This is a major milestone in her career as she is already executive producing at an young age of just 21.
The actress has worked with Netflix earlier as well in the Kissing Booth films. These films were quite appreciated by the fans and one more Kissing Booth film yet to release. On the latest project, she will work with director McG.
ABOUT UGLIES
The film is based on a 2005 novel of the same name by Scott Westerfield. The story is set in the future where it is compulsory for everyone to undergo a surgery at the age of 16 to standardize ones physical appearance and looks.
The protagonist of the story opposes this practice and tries everything to avoid the surgery along with her friends.

Joey King is an American actress who had started her career as a child artist. Her first big milestone in her career came when she was nominated for the Emmy Awards and Golden Glove for her remarkable performance in The Act.
This helped her grab the Kissing Booth film series by Netflix. She will also appear alongside Brad Pitt in a new film Bullet Train and in an adaptation of A Spark of Light by Jodi Picoult. Both these projects are in development at Sony Pictures Television.
McG is an American director who started his career as a music video director. His first movie was Charlie’s Angels that came in 2000. Since then he directed the sequels and has gained fame in the industry. McG has previously directed three films for Netflix with Uglies being the fourth one.
