Our promoters (then JIL, now JAL) and GoHP signed a Memorandum of Understanding on November 23, 1991, documenting GoHP’s acceptance of our promoters’ proposal to build the Power Plant and outlining the terms and conditions for its construction.
The parties then signed the Agreement for Implementation on October 1, 1992.
Our promoters and GoHP agreed to construct, operate, and maintain the Power Plant for an initial period of 40 years from the date of commissioning, which could be extended by an additional 20 years.
The Company was founded on December 21, 1994, with the intention of, among other things, establishing hydroelectric or thermal power projects and providing general electric power. On January 9, 1995, the Certificate of Business Commencement was issued.
