The very well-liked and sought-after animated movie series, Kung Fu Panda, has not just garnered universal admiration and approval from fans and audiences, but also very liked for its animation quality which has drawn appreciation and widespread praise from movie critics too.
Having a total of two sequels from its first-ever movie, Kung Fu Panda 3 was a super hit in the theaters four years ago and this can only leave fans in high expectations of a fourth installation: Kung Fu Panda 4.
The film which has its setting in ancient China, where anthropomorphic animals live, has evolved around a Panda named Po Ping, who is a Dragon Warrior and a Kung Fu enthusiast.
The movie which, of course, is a children’s movie, surprisingly has many mature themes ranging from family, faith, and true greatness which inevitably leave its audience awed by the creativity put into work.
The wait for Kung Fu Panda 4, although worth it but has also begun to raise doubtful questions in the minds of many as to whether or not it would be possible.
This can be as a result of the fact that DreamWorks Animations is yet to officially announce its renewal as the studio has other production projects that have tightened its schedule such as The Croods:
A New Age, The Boss Baby: Family Business, Spirit Riding Free, and The Bad Guys. With these on the ground, the release of a fourth installation will definitely take longer.
According to Jeffery Katzenberg, the CEO of DreamWorks Animation, there is the possibility for more sequels of Kung Fu Panda.
This he mentioned after the release of Kung Fu Panda 3, saying that the directors are finding the perfect story for Kung Fu Panda 4 and that’s the reason it is taking this long to be released.
