Long ago, there were plans to produce some horror series with Marvel Studios characters and now they want to bring them back.
Disney planned a Marvel Studios horror series for Hulu, but this did not end up coming true as Kevin Feige added the television section to the film section unifying everything. But now they want to create supernatural shows on Disney +, as they think they can give viewers something different.
For now, the Disney + platform does not have exclusive content for adults, but it is something that is going to change, therefore Kevin Feige’s horror series could be broadcast without any problem in the coming years.
These are the series they are planning…
For now, there are only a few ideas on the table about what Marvel Studios is planning. But it seems that they want to adapt to The Tomb of Dracula. This story is based on the critically acclaimed 1970s cult Marvel comic. If it comes true it could even be linked to the Balde movie.
They’re also talking about Adventure Into Fear, which could bring together Marvel Studios characters like Morbius, Man-Thing, Zombies, and Satana.
Another character that could have his Marvel Studios series could be Deathlok. Technically it is not horror, but dark and violent science fiction. This futuristic character appeared in Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD, played by J. August Richards.
There is also talk about Clea, Doctor Strange’s sorceress girlfriend could have her own show or share one with Jericho Drumm, aka Brother Voodoo (more recently Doctor Voodoo) in Strange Tales. Sources add that Voodoo will likely get approved for the series as it is more marketable, especially because of its name.
Although Marvel Studios does not forget about Ghost Rider either, as he may be featured in one of the new Blade movies, but they believe that he has the potential to star in an adult series.
