The Marvel Studios Cinematic Universe is expanding and they have big plans for the character of Black Panther.
In Marvel Studios they are determined to bet on replacing the most important heroes and in the multiverse and that is why we will see different versions of the most important characters. It is speculated that we will get to see three Peter Parkers played by Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire. But also, the most shocking thing is that they want to bring together two different actors like Black Panther.

We also have Sam Wilson and Kate Bishop assuming the identities of Captain America and Hawkeye, respectively, in the Disney + series from Marvel Studios. While Natalie Portman will return as Jane Foster in Thor: Love and Thunder to wield Mjolnir and become the new Goddess of Thunder. There are also many rumors that Monica Rambeau of WandaVision could become Captain Marvel or Yelena Belova of Florence Pugh is the successor of black Widow of Scarlett Johansson. Not forgetting that DC Comics / Warner Bros. want to do the same with Ben Affleck, Michael Keaton and Robert Pattinson played Batman.

There are big plans for Wakanda.
It was long rumored that Shuri (Letitia Wright) would become Black Panther, but those plans would have been carried forward in the most unfortunate circumstances after Chadwick Boseman’s death. Yesterday it was announced that the sequel to Black Panther will begin filming in July next year and, unsurprisingly, Shuri will have a very extensive role in the new Marvel Studios installment.

However, new reports claim that Ryan Coogler’s film will actually feature two versions of Black Panther, one male, and one female, neither of which will be Chadwick Boseman. Instead, it indicates that Winston Duke’s M’Baku could become Black Panther after T’Challa is killed in battle. So the story would focus on Shuri and how she tries to prove that she is worthy and capable of becoming the permanent protector of the fictional nation of Marvel Studios

Having two different people take on the role of Black Panther is certainly an interesting idea that Marvel Studios will surely explore.
