New information shared by Marvel Studios seems to confirm that Thanos is the last member of the race known as The Eternals.

Avengers STATION is an interactive exhibit that includes various props and information about the Marvel Studios Cinematic Universe. In 2020, this attraction has been closed most of the time, but now they have reopened in Toronto (Canada) and contains very interesting information about Thanos and The Eternals.

“Thanos’s origin is said to be on Saturn’s largest moon, Titan, making him a titanic by nature.” It reads on a screen. “However, Thanos is rumored to be the last of an ancient and highly sophisticated species known throughout the universe as The Eternals. ” That would certainly explain the unique appearance and the fact that he is capable of wielding the Infinity Stones.

This new information makes perfect sense.

We already know that Marvel Studios loves to change the origin of the characters, some clear examples are Star-Lord and EGO, but it is also normal that there are many other things that use them for the movies. There have been rumors that Thanos is linked to the upcoming film The Eternal s for some time, and looking at the comics, that’s no surprise. In these stories, the great villain was the son of the Eternals, A’lars, and Sui-San. While Thena (played by Angelina Jolie in this movie) is Thanos’ cousin.

We still don’t know many details about The Eternals, as Marvel Studios has been delaying the premiere and it will arrive on November 11, 2021, a year after the initial date. That is why they have not shown trailers either, since they want to share them when the Black Widow movie is released.

The year 2021 will be very big for Marvel Studios because it has reserved a large number of premieres both in theaters and on Disney+.
