According to Yahoo Finance, and due to an apparently involuntary leak, it is known that the title of this fourth installment will be ‘Matrix Resurrections’. If confirmed, it would make all the sense in the world, both by continuing with the style of the previous titles (‘Matrix Revolutions’ and ‘Matrix Reloaded’) and by the word that could explain the return of the main characters: “resurrection.” The person responsible for us knowing this information ahead of time is Shunika Terry, one of the film’s makeup artists, who shared an image of a gift she had received for working on the production.
