One hint, a Netflix series returning for its third season.
Yes, you have got that correct, I am talking about Narcos Mexico season 3.
But unfortunately, Diego Luna, the mastermind and leader of the Mexican drug cartel in the role of Felix Gallardo will not be returning.
Also, reports revealed that showrunner Eric Newman will not be continuing after five seasons and the charges will be taken over by co-creator Carlos Bernard.
Luna in an interview revealed that he wanted to take a break from the show after two years of a hectic schedule. Actor Wagner Moura, who portrayed the role of the Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar in the first two seasons, will direct two episodes of season three.
The upcoming story will revolve around the break out of war after the splinter of Felix’s empire. A group of new cartels struggles to stand strong amidst the political upheaval.
Scoot McNairy, Jose Maria Yazpik, Alberto Ammann, Alfonso Dosal, Mayra Hermosillo, Matt Letscher, Manuel Masalva, Alejandro Edda, and Gorka Lasaosa will be a major part of the cast in the new installment.
The series is being produced by Gaumont Television and is being directed by Moura and team.
Though we are a bit sad about Luna’s exit, but I don’t think we would like to miss a chance of watching a crime thriller.
