The first Meg movie was absolutely fantastic. The fans had loved it very much and had been asking for the second part right after the release of the first movie.
The creators had also announced that they will make the second part but then nothing much happened in the last few months. Now there is news that Ben Wheatley will direct the second part.
The script of the movie has already been written by Jon Hoeber, Erich Hoeber, and Dean Georgaris. Jason Statham will again play the lead role of Jonas Taylor, who is a shark expert. Right now there is no news on the release date of the movie.
The movie will be about a big Megalodon shark. In the first movie, a group of researchers find this big shark in the depths of Pacific Ocean. The shark attacks the researchers.
The researchers fight with it bravely and in the end, they defeat it but it seems there are more Megalodons like the one in first and this thing will be the central idea for the second movie.
