‘Riverdale’ has premiered season 5 in style. Let’s do a brief review. The first episode began with the long-awaited ‘crossover’ of the series with ‘Katy Keene’, through a boxing match between Archie and KO Kelly. We experienced the breakup of Cheryl Blossom and Toni Topaz and the highly anticipated prom. There was a lot of drama besides the level: Archie confessed to Veronica his kiss with Betty and the actual inspiration for his latest song composed. But all of this didn’t seem to matter much when the Peeping Tom snuck into Riverdale High to play one of his macabre tapes.
However, it was his last blow, at least if we only talk about the reenactment of murders, because it turns out that there were two people involved . Although we finally discovered their identities and closed the last open plot before the jump in time.
Regarding the person responsible for the deaths of David (the owner of the Blue Velvet), Bret and Joan (Stonewall students), it was Charles, Betty’s brother. The reason for this was to protect his family and avenge the damage these people had done. Your buddy? Chic, with whom he turned out to have a loving relationship. Can you stop getting serial killers out in the Cooper family, please? Thank you.
And although this outcome seems more or less logical, what does not quite convince us is the discovery of Jellybean as the author of the videos or the Mirón. As Jughead explained to his father, he did it so that the one with the hat would not leave Riverdale. To do this, he had the help of several friends, with whom he recorded the inhabitants of Lake Sweetwater, prepared recreations of the stories he heard from his brothers and other ghoulish aspects. We are 100% convinced that little Jones recorded all this, it has a certain point of darkness! But the reason … is he hiding someone else? It would not surprise us.
What will happen in episode 5×03 of ‘Riverdale’?
Once the last mystery of the series is closed, it’s time to celebrate Graduation and say goodbye to the teenagers Archie, Betty, Jughead and company to welcome their adult version. Because yes, the jump in time is here!
Luckily, we already have the preview of the next chapter, the third of the fifth season, and if you expected there would be no drama, this series is not for you.
