Shiba Inu ($SHIB) To Release 99,000 Plots of Land on Its Metaverse

The inventors of Shiba Inu ($SHIB), a meme-inspired cryptocurrency, have stated that 99,000 plots of land would be released in the Shiberse, the cryptocurrency’s impending Metaverse. $LEASH token holders will be able to purchase 35,000 of those plots.

According to comments made during a Shiba Inu AMA event organized by Watcher Guru, the Shiberse would be distributed in stages. According to Business Insider, the project’s developers are preparing a 10-day digital land sale in which 35,000 plots would be sold.

Acreage on Shiberse is priced differently depending on its location, with land closer to the park’s center – a dog park at the heart of the cryptocurrency’s metaverse – costing more.

Holders of LEASH tokens will get early access to land plots through a special portal where they can purchase land. To participate in the sale, users must lock their LEASH holdings, with the lock-in period being shorter if they lock up more tokens.

Those who have the most money locked up will be able to bid on the greatest parcels of property. Locking 0.2 LEASH will allow customers to acquire an 11 piece, according to ArchAngel, a cryptocurrency YouTuber who works on Shiba Inu.

Surprise For The ShibArmy

Those who have the most money locked up will be able to bid on the greatest parcels of property. Locking 0.2 LEASH will allow users to buy an 11 piece of land, while locking 5 LEASH will allow users to buy a 1010 piece of land, according to ArchAngel, a cryptocurrency YouTuber who works on Shiba Inu.

To bid on the land, tokens must be locked, but they cannot be used to buy it. Instead, the land will be sold for $ETH, Ethereum’s native token, with prices ranging from 0.2 to 1 ETH depending on location.

The second tranche of land, priced in ETH, will be accessible to the general public, not just LEASH holders.

Conclusion

Satoshi Kusama, the cryptocurrency community leader, revealed earlier this month that Shiba Inu was teaming up with Welly’s, a burger restaurant with one physical location in Italy, to open the “first and only SHIB themed restaurant powered by the community.”

Unification, a Singapore-based blockchain solutions provider that has worked with companies such as Google and Amazon, has announced that it has been developing Shibarium in collaboration with the Shiba Inu community.

Shibarium is a layer-two network developed on top of the Ethereum blockchain to support the Shiba Inu ecosystem, it’s worth highlighting. It’ll allow for “quick low-cost transactions targeted for gaming.”
