Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirms that Doctor Strange 2 will be connected to the Spider-Man 3 movie.
Undoubtedly two of the most shocking films of the next few years are Doctor Strange 2 and Spider-Man 3, as they will explore the concept of the multiverse and will have many Marvel Studios heroes together.
Officially announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, Doctor Strange 2 will explore the existence of alternate dimensions of Marvel Studios, some of which were created by the events of Avengers: Endgame. Disney + series such as Loki and WandaVision have been confirmed to be connected to the Sorcerer Supreme sequel, with the appearance of Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch. But now, it has been revealed that it will also narratively connect with another movie and it is about Spider-Man 3. Which makes a lot of sense, since that movie will be Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange.
Phase 4 of Marvel Studios gets interesting.
Spider-Man 3 is currently filming in Atlanta, Georgia and Doctor Strange 2 will begin shooting when Benedict Cumberbatch finishes his scenes in the third installment of Spider-Man.
In addition, the Supreme Sorcerer will be accompanied by Jamie Foxx as Electro, JK Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker and Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane Watson. So we can see that the plans for Spider-Man 3 are a real madness.
Peter Parker of Tom Holland must deal with a very difficult situation because Spider-Man 3 will continue events Far from Home (2019), where Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) revealed to the world the true identity of the hero of Marvel and also accused him of his murder. So all the criminals and the police will go after him. That is why you will need all the help you can.
Spider-Man 3 will be released on December 17, 2021, and Doctor Strange on March 25, 2022. Are you looking forward to seeing them?
