RELEASE DATE
The show is facing delays since 2018. At first, it was planned that the writing of the show will take place in 2017 and then filming in 2018.
The creator Steven Knight couldn’t do so and it was decided that writing will be wrapped up as quickly as possible. Then after writing was done the main characters of the show were busy with their projects and thus another year went by.
Finally, there was news that filming may start in 2020. So far no further update has come which makes us assume that fans will have to patiently wait for the announcement of the release date.
CAST
Tom hardy will be seen playing the part of James Keziah Delaney once again in the show.
He is the only confirmed cast so far. From what we could gather the cast will most probably be Lorna Delaney as Jessie Buckley, Mark Gatiss as the Prince Regent, Stephen Graham as Atticus, David Hayman as Brace, Edward Hogg as Michael Godfrey, Jason Watkins as Solomon Coop, and Nicholas Woodeson as Robert They.
PLOT
Show creator Steven Knight has said that the story will get more exciting in the second season. The angle of narcotics will increase in the show. The main story will take place in America.
James, the lead character of the show, may get involved with a secret spy agency ‘Colonnade’ which may ultimately lead to James exploring his roots in America.
