Yes, the YA series is renewing for its second season.
A great surprise for the fans, indeed!
The start of the second season is expected to be in 2021. The announcement was done through a video released by the cast in honor of its renewal. Almost three and a half months since its first premier fans are getting the news of the second.
The main story will continue to revolve around the lives of Kristy Thomas, Mary Anne Spier, Claudia Kishi, Stacey McGill, Dawn Schafer, Jessie Ramsey and Mallory Pike getting themselves busied in their baby-sitting business.
The show is based on Ann. M. Martin’s novel on the Babysitter’s Club. Rachel Shukert will continue his role as the showrunner.
Walden media will be giving us the show. Lucia Aneillo will be executive producing the show along with Shukert.
There will be a team of directors making the show. It seems the show will have enough twists and turns.
We can’t really wait for it!
