The long-awaited continuation of In Treatment is finally here with an amazing trailer and the viewers cannot stop talking about it. How could we possibly not talk about it? The new trailer that showed up recently featured Orange Is the New Black’s Uzo Aduba stars. Moreover, it is a psychotherapy drama which was originally fronted by Hereditary’s Gabriel Bryne who is also popular for the role he playes as Dr Paul Weston across its three season that ran between the period of 2008 and 2009.
The fascinating thing to witness in the show’s first trailer was Aduba’s presence, setting herself to take the centre stage. She is best known for her performance in the aforementioned Netflix show playing the role of Suzanne ‘Crazy Eyes’ Warren. We all witnessed how she was able to bring Dr Brooke Lawrence to life in the fourth season of the show after HBO confirmed that the streaming service won’t be renewing the show for more seasons.
Now that the new outings are scheduled to feature on the streaming service, episodes would be broadcasted just twice a week showcasing Lawrence’s sessions with her problematic patients. The cast is not very well confirmed by the makers yet but it is certain that Glynn Turman and Dianne Wiest would be back as they featured throughout its original stint.
On the other hand, Hamilton’s Anthony Ramos, Liza Colon-Zayas (The Purge: Election Year), and John Benjamin Hickey (The Big C) will be bulking out of the star-studded cast this new outing. In addition to that, you will also get to witness Trinkets actor Quintessa Swindell (who will soon feature in DC superhero movie Black Adam against Dwayne Johnson) and Joel Kinnaman (from the Suicide Squad) in the show.
