The Oscar winning actor has revealed that he won’t be coming back for the 3rd season of the show. As to why was he leaving the show, the show representatives have stated that Arkin had made the decision a while ago.
They have further clarified that the decision has nothing to do with the ongoing Covid 19 pandemic and was made before it. All the above details have been confirmed by the creator of the show Chuck Lorre.
Allen Arkin has got much fame from this series. He had been nominated for the Prime Time Emmy Award for outstanding supporting actor in a comedy series.
This role in The Kominsky Method was Arkin’s first major role since his 2001 show 100 Center Street.
