Guys, are we not really in need of some comic relief in our lives now at this point in time. Yes all of us are really in need of some and therefore after a whole saga of horror, thriller, family drama, and romance, today we have in store for you an update about a comic book series, The Lumberjanes.
Makers, the Eisner Award-winning BOOM Studios, comic book series created by Shannon Watters, Grace Ellis, Brooklyn A. Allen and Noelle Stevenson are evidently coming to the HBO Max streaming platform.
As explain and revealed by one of the interviews of children’s media association, Stevenson will be writing and directing the movie.
It will be presented to the audience as a series with a lot of comic relief and has a lot of content that will keep the viewers glued to the screens.
Sources has also revealed that Lumberjanes was first to be released on the world’s number one digital platform Netflix, but later there was cancellation by them and it was taken up by HBO Max.
There is no clear confirmation also about whether this special series will be an animated or a live-action series.
The comic book was first published in 2014 by BOOM! And it follows Jo, April, Molly, Mal and Ripley, a group of Lumberjane Scouts attuning Miss Qiunzella Thiskwin Penniquiqul Thistle Crumpet’s Camp for Hardcore Lady Types.
We can absolutely feel the excitement of the channel to bring this series in and we as viewers assure them that we will not miss a chance to watch such a beautiful comic show.
