Did you see that member of the team in short sleeves or were you aware of the shooting?
We have been laughing for over 4 decades at how the stormtroopers crash into the ceiling in ‘A New Hope’ The last chapter of ‘The Mandalorian’, ‘The Siege’ took to the extreme the famous clumsiness of the imperial soldiers but they are not the only clumsy in the series.
No, of course, we’re not talking about Command and his exceptional battle skills. Neither of Cara Dune and Greef Karga, who returned to the series in a great reunion. We don’t even talk about Baby Yoda, very clever stealing the cookies from the boy at the side desk (it is well used for not giving him one after putting eyes on him). We talk about the filming and a failure that has already become so viral that many compare it to the cup of coffee from ‘Game of Thrones’.
During their assault on the Imperial base that turns out to be a laboratory, Karga, Dune, and Mando become involved in various blaster exchanges. Of course, the stormtroopers shoot at the ceiling while the protagonists finish them off, as usual. But while the laser shots were going to one side and to the other a few of us realized that there was a large bun on the plane.
We assume that Disney + will not take long to digitally remove the error but that in a series like Star Wars and in a shot that has gone through a lot of digital post-production, it’s hard to believe that no one saw that likely team member in jeans and short sleeves at the bottom of the shot.
