Also, not just the username but Selena’s original account and the account that posted the video also had a huge difference in the number of followers as well. While Selena has 22million followers on her personal tiktok handle, the fake/fan account had only 100K followers.
Well her fans and followers already knew that their girl can never do such a publicity and they never believed in the video but there were so many people that believed in it and said that it is actually shared by Selena herself which further helped the video in managing to create hype and headlines all over the place.
