Marvel Studios intends for Thor 4 to be one of the biggest movies that will be released in the coming years, that’s why one of the best characters in the God of Thunder saga will return.
Thor 4 will have the title of Thor: Love and Thunder and will be released in 2022, so filming is currently beginning and there is much speculation about everything that the new adventure of the Marvel Studios Cinematic Universe will bring.
Director Taika Waititi has already commented that Thor 4 will be much bigger and crazy than Thor: Ragnarok (2017), for this they will have Chris Hemsworth as the protagonist again. But this time it will be accompanied by Chris Pratt as Star-Lord from Guardians of the Galaxy, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Christian Bale as the great villain, and Natalie Portman will return to handle Mjolnir as Jane Foster.

The new information ensures that Heimdall played by Idris Elba will return to Thor 4. He is a powerful Asgardian who died at the beginning of Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and that we have obviously not seen in any other movie. He had the power to see what was happening in the entire Universe while being the guardian of the powers of Bifrost, the Rainbow Bridge.
His return to Thor 4 would be something quite surprising, as Asgard was destroyed and its inhabitants are now on Earth led by the Valkyrie, so only if they rebuild the Bifrost would it make sense for him to return.
Although there is another theory that is circulating on the Internet about Thor 4 and that is that the protagonists may return to Hel and that is where they find Heimdall and even Hela, Thor’s sister.
