Vikings Season 6: Warner Bros Announces DVD And Blu-Ray Release


Fans will be able to relive the excitement and catch up on ten new episodes of Vikings season six starting December 10, 2020.

In its sixth season, Vikings averaged 34 million viewers per episode, as the series remains one of the top five cable television dramas in the United States, with a 100% rating from critics. and 76% of the audience on Rotten Tomatoes.

The sixth season of Vikings returns after the battle between brothers, which made Bjorn Ironskin a hero to the people who had been subjugated during Ivar’s long and tyrannical reign. As the new leader of Kattegat, Bjorn struggles to earn the throne left by his late father as king, while facing critical dilemmas and wrestling with the idea that power is more important than ethics. Meanwhile, Ivar, looking for a new way to separate himself from his past, travels along the Silk Road arriving in Russia. There he meets Prince Oleg (Danila Kozlovsky), a Russian ruler as ruthless and unpredictable as he is. Lagertha has plans of her own – to live a quieter, less public life on her farm – but new dangers lurk.

The sixth season of Vikings consists of ten gripping adventures that chronicle the Viking invasion of Scandinavia as Ubbe (Jordan Patrick Smith) and Torvi (Georgia Hirst) travel to Iceland to uncover the mystery of the disappearance of Floki (Gustaf Skarsgård), and Hvitserk ( Marco Ilsø) seeks his revenge against Ivar.

Created and produced by Michael Hirst ( The Tudors ), Vikings has had the collaboration of high-impact executive producers such as Morgan O’Sullivan of TM Productions (The Earl of Monte Cristo’s Revenge ), Sheila Hockins ( The Tudors, Borgia ), Take 5 Productions’ John Weber ( The Handmaid’s Tale ), Sherry Marsh ( Pose ), Alan Gasmer ( Fahrenheit 451 ) and James Flynn.

Vikings is an Irish and Canadian international co-production by TM Productions and Take 5 Productions. MGM Television being the world distributor outside of Ireland and Canada. The series is produced in association with Corus Entertainment.
