The director Zack Snyder will make very important changes in the Justice League with respect to what we saw in theaters, one of them will be Superman’s black suit.
As the version of Joss Whedon of Justice League did not quite convince, they have decided that Zack Snyder finished his film on HBO Max. One of the important moments that was removed was when Superman’s black suit appeared. This is linked to his resurrection since he died when Doomsday was killed in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016).
This is how the director himself explains it:
Zack Snyder commented why it is very important for him to show the black Superman suit in Justice League and above all that it is not just for aesthetic reasons. According to the director, it is a representation of the personal progress of the Last Son of Krypton.
“I was really always a huge advocate for the Superman black suit. I really wanted a black suit. It made sense to me because… Superman is a notoriously non-growing character. He is like a rock and everything crashes against him ”.
“And we learn about ourselves by trying to change something that is immutable.”
“Superman had to, at each step, level up and learn something, and be something different… What he had planned was that Superman’s final step was his true return or his true entry into what I would consider the classic Superman. ”.
“We really don’t get it in this movie, the classic Superman. I also feel like Superman’s black suit is a great time liner. If you see a flashback or a flash-forward, he with the black suit lets you know where you are in time because it is very particular for a specific arc ”.
The Justice League movie will premiere in March 2021 on HBO Max.
