We know that Zack Snyder’s version of Justice League will debut in 2021 on HBO Max, although for now, we don’t know the exact date of that big event.
It has been revealed that Warner Bros will bet heavily on HBO Max as they will release all their movies at the same time in theaters and on the streaming platform. But we can also see the version of Zack Snyder from Justice League that they have promised will be different from what they offered in 2017 under the orders of Joss Whedon.
This new Justice League montage with new scenes wasn’t expected to be ready until after summer, but it looks like it’s coming very soon.
Warner Bros. CEO Jason Kilar has revealed that we could get the finished product in the coming months.
“And on the subject of HBO Max, there are so many amazing HBO original series and Max originals that I am excited about. The Tiger Woods HBO documentary coming out in January is amazing. And this little thing called Zack Snyder’s Justice League is coming in a few months too. ”
Hopefully, soon they give the final date.
The current plan for the Justice League is to present it as a four-hour miniseries divided into one-hour installments that will premiere week after week. Then there will also be a great version putting everything together. Recent advancements to the director’s cut have already shown a very different tone than the original edit and it seems HBO Max is confident enough in Zack Snyder’s vision to want a full trilogy that continues the story.
There will also be big surprises in Justice League such as the appearance of Jared Leto’s Joker and greater participation of Deathstroke by Joe Manganiello and Mera by Amber Heard. While we will finally see Darkseid after the supervillain was removed from the previous version.
