A lot of common questions already have a fast, self-serve answer — and many reach us with too little detail to act on. A minute here usually saves a round-trip:
- Check whether it's a data question. Live prices are cached briefly and may lag the wider market; our methodology lists each source and refresh interval before you flag a figure as wrong.
- Reporting an error? Use corrections. Send it through our corrections policy with the page URL, what looks wrong, and the time you saw it — that routes straight to the editor.

I think a number on the site is wrong — where do I report it?
Use our corrections policy rather than general contact, and include the page URL plus the time you saw it. Note that live data is cached for short intervals and may briefly lag the market, which our methodology documents as expected behaviour.
