Understanding the columns
The table above packs a lot into a few columns. Here is what each one is telling you, so the ranking actually means something rather than just looking busy:
Market cap
Price times circulating supply — the truest measure of a coin\'s size, and what the list is ranked by. Full explainer →
24h & 7d
How the price has moved over the last day and week. Green is up, red is down; a blank cell means we don\'t yet have that figure.
Volume (24h)
The value traded in the past day — a rough gauge of how liquid and actively traded a coin is right now.
A coin\'s headline price tells you very little on its own: supply is what turns price into market value. That is why a token worth a fraction of a cent can still be larger than one priced in the hundreds. For the ideas behind the numbers, read market capitalisation explained or browse the full guides; to put a figure to work, our free calculators convert between coins and model scenarios. Every source and refresh interval is documented in our methodology.
Frequently asked questions
What does market capitalisation mean for a coin?
It is the current price multiplied by the circulating supply — a measure of a coin's total size, and usually a fairer comparison than price alone. We explain it in full in market cap explained.
How current are these prices?
Prices come from CoinPaprika and are refreshed on a short cycle, with the time shown near the top of the page. They can lag exchanges slightly; the detail is in our methodology.
Why do some coins show a blank change or no sparkline?
Because we only display figures we actually have. When a 7-day history or percentage move is not available for a coin, we leave the cell empty rather than invent a number — honest gaps over fabricated data.
Does a low price mean a coin is cheap?
Not on its own. A sub-cent coin can have a larger market cap than one priced in the hundreds, depending on supply. Compare market caps, not headline prices — our glossary defines the terms.
